The September instalment of our Dear Urbaneer series is entitled, ‘Dear Urbaneer: What Preparations Do I Need To Make Before Moving Into My New Home?‘ This month, Steve replies to a couple who will very soon be taking possession of their first home. With so much to do in preparation for the move, they’re worried they’ll miss something essential, and are looking for advice on logistics as well as any other tips we have for a smooth transition into homeownership! You can review them here; some you may not have even thought of!

Steve and the Urbaneer Team post weekly blogs that share our love of all things real estate and that celebrate Toronto! Here are three of our most well-read posts this month:

According to Urbaneer.com’s monthly analytics, our most-read blog was ‘About Vintage Brick & Beam Factory Conversions & Concrete ‘N Cool Contemporary Lofts In Toronto’. Featured in the media as the epitome of urban domesticity, living in a vintage brick and beam factory conversion or a clean-lined concrete ‘n cool contemporary loft represents the dream urban space for many. Lofts in all their forms have become an established niche of the Toronto real estate market over the past three decades and, as good fortune would have it, I’ve been engaged in Toronto’s loft market since the early 1990s, including the concept, sales, and marketing of The Button Factory at 200 Clinton, The Banquet Hall at 62 Claremont, The Wellington Worx Building, the Baseball Globe Factory, and, of course, The Movie House. Let’s look at some lofts!

The second most popular post was ‘How Urbaneer’s Toronto Real Estate Marketing Program Sold This 1930’s Swansea Bungalow‘. When you enlist the services of my team in the marketing and sale of your Toronto property, in addition to custom-crafting a visually arresting online and print sales prospectus that shines the spotlight on your home, we create engaging original content that celebrates the popular local everyday amenities beloved by your community – top restaurants, nearby green spaces, recreation opportunities, and engaging cultural amenities. After all, any house hunter will tell you that finding a home that is ‘the one’ has as much to do with where it is as with what it is. That’s because your life extends far beyond those four walls, into the community that surrounds them!

We also had an excellent response to our post, ‘Rennie Park: My Swansea Sanctuary‘. This was one of our amenity blogs when selling ‘A Sun-Soaked Swell Dwell In Swansea‘.  As a parent, Cynthia writes that she’s particularly grateful to have so many great physical activities and rec option close by in Swansea, including pursuits that the whole family can get involved in—hockey, tennis, skating, rollerblading, sliding, soccer, bocce, baseball, you name it! And many of those activities are all happening in the heart and hub of Swansea: Rennie Park. If you’ve never been to this lovely oasis…  well, this blog’s for you!

And – for lovers of unique urban spaces – don’t miss our sensational Toronto real estate properties currently listed for sale or lease on our site for your consideration!
