Here is what you’ll find inside our March 2019 E-Newsletter:

First, we share our Homewatch News contribution, ‘How To Maximize The Potential Of Your Kitchen Renovation‘. Today a kitchen lasts about 10 years max before being ridiculed as ‘dated’. This means if you’re hoping to garner top dollar when it comes time to sell, it’s critical that your kitchen remain appealing.Given the objective of the media is to seduce consumers to want all the latest household contents and fads – constantly promoted in shelter magazines, on-line blogs, and the 24 hour loop of HGTV – it’s easy to get confused! The best way to ensure longevity of a kitchen is to use hard-wearing materials that complement a classic contemporary aesthetic. Try bridge traditional and modern kitchen components so that it has broader cross appeal to lover of many styles. Our Homewatch Newsletters specifically isolate content from our informative blog and our growing social media presence on Facebook, Google+, Instagram and Twitter, that directly address the homeownership experience, particularly what follows after a completed real estate transaction: the ‘living’!

Each month we share the tale of what one of our buyers have recently purchased in our Home of The Month feature. In this installment, we share a tale about a couple who expanded their residence from one condominium into two, before adding a third unit for their parents. This resulted in a multi-generational ‘compound’ in Kensington Market Lofts. And while this might seem unusual at first, it reflects two growing movements in Toronto real estate: raising children in condos, and a return to multi-generational living. Check out the story here!

March’s installment of our Dear Urbaneer series is entitled, ‘What Are Some Of The Most Common Real Estate Superstitions?‘  This time around, the question is interesting and unusual, as it is in regards to the interplay between real estate and superstitions. Here’s the client question: “I was at a dinner party recently and the conversation turned to the topic of superstitions. It was really interesting to hear all the varying beliefs around the subject. With our house hunt always at the forefront of my mind, it got me to thinking, are there any superstitions that pertain to real estate? How might that affect our bids on properties? I’m curious.” Pop over to this piece for the answer!

As realtors, writers, and avid social media participants – not to mention lovers of all things real estate – our Urbaneer team shares a bunch of blogs each week. According to Urbaneer.com’s monthly statistics, our most read blog was ‘Yup! Toronto’s Spring 2019 Real Estate Market Means Bidding Wars‘. This piece focuses on specific cases of bully offers and bidding wars that provide some insight into where the Spring market is headed! Also it made quite a splash on Facebook!

The second most popular post was ‘Toronto Loves The CN Tower (And So Do I!)‘.  This one focused on the CN Tower – as a significant focal point on our urban landscape –  and how itinfluences the Toronto real estate market! Take a look at what we have to say here!
