Here is what you’ll find in our March 2026 E-Newsletter:
March’s Dear Urbaneer was entitled, ‘Dear Urbaneer: How Can I Refresh My Home For Spring, Beyond The Usual Decluttering?‘ This time, Steve helps a client who’d like to tap into the energy of Spring and refresh his home, beyond the usual spring clean and decluttering. The question reads: “After a long winter, my home is feeling a bit heavy and tired. I know the usual advice is to declutter and do a deep clean, but I’m looking for something more impactful. I want to tackle tasks (not full renovations) that make my home feel like spring: lighter, brighter, while tapping into positive energy. What do you suggest for an effective spring refresh at home?” Read on for his insight!
Steve and the Urbaneer Team post weekly blogs that share our love of all things real estate and that celebrate Toronto! Below are three of our most well-read posts this past month:
Our most well-read piece was: ‘Oakwood’s Bagel Bosses: Primrose Bagels‘. If you’ve ever typed “best bagels in Toronto” into Google while aggressively hungry, let me save you some time: Primrose Bagels on Oakwood Avenue is the answer. Tucked into Oakwood Village, this spot has quickly earned a reputation for hand-rolled, malt-boiled bagels baked to that golden sweet spot between crispy and chewy. You know — the kind of bagel that makes you pause mid-bite and nod silently in respect. These folks are total bagel bosses. Here’s our review!
Another popular piece was ‘Let’s Catch Up At Earlscourt Park!‘. Having easy access to green space is a high-value amenity that can draw urbanites to one Toronto neighbourhood over another. One interesting side effect of living through the COVID-19 pandemic was that it drove home just how essential escaping outdoors, exercising, and communing with nature is to our mental health. During those tough years (and ever after), realtors like us have watched ‘green space’ move up the list of client ‘Must Haves’. Let’s be honest – we’d all love to have a big landscaped park just a couple of blocks away, right?
We also had a great response to our blog, ‘We Love ‘7 Numbers’ On Danforth Avenue & Eglinton Avenue West In Toronto‘. If I were to rate Toronto’s 7 Numbers – the comfort foodies’ destination for authentic Southern Italian soul food in Toronto – they’d all be 7 out of 7s! Spreading the gastro goodness across the core, 7 Numbers has locations on both Eglinton West and Danforth Avenue. This is primo rustic Italian cuisine cooked with love. If you grew up in a household that treasured regular gatherings for large family meals – and with a grandmother or two who took great pride in serving up signature family recipes – then this restaurant will illicit warm, nostalgic feelings for you.
