Realtor Steven Fudge Joins The Panelists On theZoomer To Discuss Housing Innovations

Housing & Politics, Media/Press, News, Real Estate

Welcome to my blog on housing, culture, and design, where I explore all the facets of real estate, housing, and home. I’m Steve Fudge, and I’ve been a realtor and housing consultant in Toronto, Ontario, Canada for 30 years.

The Toronto real estate market is always oscillating which, for me, means I’m always endeavouring to have an ‘a la minute’ understanding of what’s happening in the housing market. From my place in “the real estate trenches”, my job is to observe what is immediately unfolding, analyze why, and forecast the actions, reactions and trends that will be forthcoming. This is one of the many ways I serve my clients.

I’m very grateful to have participated in a number of interviews with well-known media outlets over the years and share my experiences and observations. My latest foray into real estate commentary came recently when I was a panellist on theZoomer. They invited me to join a round-table discussion of on housing affordability and the future of housing Toronto. After all, these are relevant, pervasive issues in Canadian real estate today, and perhaps ones you may be discussing around your own dining tables as of late.

I was tapped to talk about some potential solutions to the growing affordability problem, specifically co-ownership, and the rise of the affordable (and eco-friendly) tiny house. I also provided my insight on 3-D printing as an efficient innovation to create affordable housing.

In fact, I wrote about this recently in: Design Innovations For A More Affordable Canadian Housing Future – and – Steve Fudge From Urbaneer.com: Recent Press On Co-Ownership In Real Estate Magazine Online.

It’s a fascinating show. The full episode is –> here. And here are the segments on co-ownership, about tiny homes and on 3-D printing.

Being able to share and learn is a big reason why  I have always been so involved in real estate media, which I devour regularly in my constant search for information and knowledge. And I am delighted – in turn – to share my insights on all things real estate to my readers and clients!

And thank you to theZoomer and VisionTV for the opportunity to share!
