Here is what you’ll find inside our April 2022 E-Newsletter:
April’s instalment of our Dear Urbaneer series is entitled, ‘Dear Urbaneer: How Can I Incorporate Eco-Friendly Décor And Products At Home?‘ In April, Steve offers a reader advice on how to integrate eco-friendly décor choices, habits and products at home. They write: “I’m motivated to reduce my footprint – starting with my home and how I furnish and decorate it. I’ve read your piece Dear Urbaneer: How Can I Make My Outdoor Space More Eco-Friendly? and I’m working on incorporating some of your tips to make my yard and gardens more sustainable, but do you have any tips on how to elevate with eco-friendly inside my home too?”. Read on, for some great ideas and a whole lot of pretty!
Steve and the Urbaneer Team post weekly blogs that share our love of all things real estate and that celebrate Toronto! Here are three of our most well-read posts this past month:
The most read post for April was: ‘Here Comes Toronto’s ‘Ontario Line’ Transit Network‘. Torontonians are hungry for better transit solutions, as well as improvements to the current lines that could improve daily commuting. Fortunately, there’s a new transit line coming to the City of Toronto that will give central and east side commuters some relief. Metrolinx has unveiled an upcoming alternative: the Ontario Line!! It’s a new transit line that will run from Lake Ontario (Exhibition Place) to the Ontario Science Centre in North Toronto. Read on!
Another popular piece was Steve’s love letter to Edwardian architecture, particularly at Printers Row Lofts: ‘Edwardian Architecture At Printers Row Lofts In Riverdale, Toronto’. As a housing conceptualist who was actively engaged in the adaptive reuse conversion of several small buildings into loft condominiums in the 90s and 00s, and a realtor who has specialized in the purchase and sale of unique urban homes for 30 years, Steve has enormous affection for Printers Row Lofts located at 525 Logan Avenue. Converted into 12 dramatic custom contemporary lofts in 2001, over the past 2 decades I’ve seen these 2 and 3-level incubators of domestic bliss evolve according to the wishes, wants and needs of each new incoming resident owner. Join the discussion!
Thirdly, we had a great response to two of our amenity blogs: ‘Enjoy A Brew With A View At Rooster Coffee House In Riverdale‘ and ‘Sweet Dreams Are Made Of Cheese (At The Cheese Boutique!)’. There are so many fantastic options for food and drink in our fair city, and as such, we’re always happy to recommend some of our favourites!
