Here is what you’ll find inside our May 2019 E-Newsletter:
First, we share our Homewatch News contribution, ‘How To Realize The Garage Of Your Dreams‘. t’s amazing the garage isn’t accorded the value premium it’s worthy of. And it’s also often overlooked as potential space that expands useable square footage for many households. It can be used for storage, a workshop, band practice, a studio or loads of other things, well beyond parking your car! If you configure the garage to meet your needs, you can effectively improve your quality of life within the limitations of your property! Our Homewatch Newsletters specifically isolate content from our informative blog and our growing social media presence on Facebook, Google+, Instagram and Twitter, that directly address the homeownership experience, particularly what follows after a completed real estate transaction: the ‘living’!
Each month we share the tale of what one of our buyers have recently purchased in our Home of The Month feature. In this installment, we share the tale of a couple who managed to buy a turn-key dwelling in their preferred location within budget, that didn’t require the sale of the condo, which is now part of their income portfolio!! In the past I’ve had many couples pursue purchasing a house with the aim of keeping their condo, but, during their search, these couples discover that in order to climb the property ladder into a freehold dwelling that ticks all their wishes, wants and needs, the condo they own must be sold in order to extract its equity. So this is a rare first! Check out the story here!
March’s installment of our Dear Urbaneer series is entitled, ‘Dear Urbaneer: What Are The Benefits Of Living Near Water?‘ This time around, we address how where we live and how we live greatly influences our lives physically, mentaly, emotionally and spiritually. Our client writes: “I’m very much drawn to the water and would love to have water views right from my home. It just makes me calm thinking about it. I also know that owning property near the water is a premium feature that can really help to increase my home’s value over time. Why does water has that kind of impact on real estate and on real estate owners?” Pop over to this piece for the answer!
As realtors, writers, and avid social media participants – not to mention lovers of all things real estate – our Urbaneer team shares a bunch of blogs each week. According to Urbaneer.com’s monthly statistics, our most read blog was ‘Hey – Stop With That Real Estate Photoshop!‘. This piece focuses on the increasing incidence of Buyers being enticed enticed by listing photos posted online, but, upon visiting the property in person, discovering that the online images had been wildly enhanced. today photo manipulation in real estate has evolved into a business of its own, thanks to escalating expectations linked to HGTV programming and Beauty Industry extremes. Driveways created out of thin air, wall colours mysteriously changed, holes in the wall simply erased… these ar just a few of the “alterations” we occasionally come across on misrepresented lisitngs.
The second most popular post was ‘An Urbaneer Style Enhancement Features An Art Deco Bar Cart From Spruce Toronto‘. This blog is about creating a unique urban space, taking risks with design, and buying local, like the fantastic Art Deco bar cart we coveted at Spruce Home Decor on Parliament Street! All it takes to enhance your space is having a good eye – meaning you intuitively know the basic rules of design – and enough money to massage your property into a better version of itself – sometimes with just a few key pieces! Take a look at what we have to say here!
