Although I'm an action-janet-on-the-go realtor often behind the wheel navigating traffic to my next appointment, I also have a walking life.
In my quest to limit the stresses of everyday living, I take to my feet whenever possible. And it usually entails making a bee-line through whatever city park I'm near in my quest to get off the pavement, feel the terra firma and connect with nature, bird song and my community.
Yesterday I strolled through one of my fav parks – Trinity Bellwoods – and came across this heart of flowers. I don't know the story behind it but I'm curious. Did a fellow with heart racing plant these, bring his soul mate, and get down on his knee and propose? Was this the spot a pair of lovers took their vows? Whatever the case, seeing this made me smile.

I discovered this surprise enroute to fantastic FRESH on Queen at Crawford (894 Queen West) for their tasty vegetarian food with some pals
