Summer in Toronto is nothing less than stellar, especially when your weekend begins with cocktails on your friends’ cityvista terrace!
For the past ten days, Toronto’s stages, streets and public spaces have been an on-going celebration of arts and creativity with Luminato, an annual multi-disciplinary fusion of theatre, dance, music, literature, food, visual arts, fashion, film, and magic. Now in its fifth year, this is one amazing event. Click HERE to see the Luminato website.
Closer to home…as in thirty steps from my Movie House Loft, I’m celebrating the annual Taste of Little Italy this weekend. My favourite element is the unbridled enthusiasm and local community spirit. The streets are filled with every walk of life enjoying the food, music, street vendors and amusements.
Oh! Oh! If you’re down on College Street any time soon, my friends and I ate the most amazing mushroom, truffle oil and parmiagiano pizza at Briscola Trattoria located at 501 College Street. It was so tasty we ordered a second!
Here’s a snap late at night as the festivities were winding down…by this time we were on a journey for ice cream!
How amazing a city, when you have this on your doorstep!
