Behold the magnificent Magnolia.
As Spring blooms fresh beginnings, Toronto’s landscape has been bursting with flowering buds that have made our streetscapes magical.
The Magnolia is one of my favourite flowering trees. The blossoms are gigantic. It looks tropical. And for one month it takes centre stage on nature’s fashion runway before blending in with the rest of Toronto’s lush canopy of green.
How amazing in the span of twelve weeks it can go from bare branches strung with Holiday Lights to floral paradise. Can you see the Holiday Lights in the photo below?
With blossoms like this, is it no wonder so many Torontonians LOVE Spring?
