Queen Margherita Pizza On Queen Street East In Leslieville

City Living, Leslieville/Riverside, Restaurants

To keep our hunger pangs at bay, Urbaneer recently stopped in mid-day for a bite of authentic Neapolitan deliciousness at Queen Margherita Pizzeria, located at the corner of Queen Street East and Vancouver Avenue, and right across the street from the TTC's Russell Car House.

Queen Margherita is one of only a few restaurants boasting “Vera Pizza Napoletana” which is pizza baked in a prized and authentic wood-fired oven – and to get the “VPN” seal of approval, certain standards must be maintained. We encourage you visit so you can experience the slightly smoky, charred to black and golden blonde crusty perfection for yourselves!

We chose the traditional Margherita accompanied by their signature Arugula salad – delicious, fresh and perfectly dressed! Service was super friendly and quick, too. And we adore Queen Margherita's lofty and authentic vibe, with the big Neapolitan oven manned by imported pizzaolos right there working their magic for all to see.

Imagine having this phenomenal little spot just steps away from your home – how fab would that be?!

You could be walking here from this dreamy contemporary condo alternative on terrific Ashdale Avenue offered at $539,900–> A Contemporary Condominium Alternative In Leslieville.

Have we piqued your interest in this neighbourhood or any of the other great Toronto neighbourhoods we specialize in? Send us an email – we welcome hearing from you!
