Liberty Life Yoga is committed to living & sharing the “liberty life”, which they describe as a “fun and holistic lifestyle” that fits with the day-to-day energy of Toronto’s young professional. Frankly, it’s a breath a fresh air, especially when finding your inner peace can – at times – feel at odds with the bright lights, big city lifestyle.
Did you know Liberty Life Yoga has a reputation for having some of the best teachers in the city!
One of the best qualities about Liberty Life Yoga is that they cater to all levels of experience, although they pride themselves on being particularly inclusive for beginners.
First, there’s a breadth of classes to choose from, whether you’re looking to stretch tight muscles, sweat it out, strengthen your core, or reinvigorate your energy. After all, the ravages of everyday living can be draining.
Here’s how they break down their classes by category:
light flow
Move through basic poses in a slow flow. Within this class, there is emphasis on proper alignment and activation of muscle groups. Hands on adjustments and modifications are always offered.
fire flow
Balancing movement with breath, this flow based class will leave you feeling energized and mentally focused. Vinyasa’s are taken between sequences of poses; this class will activate internal heat – and can be thought of as a moving meditation.
core flow
Core flow sessions are designed to increase strength and elasticity by combining the mind-body connection of yoga, and faster paced postures that target core and back strengthening. Some teachers like to integrate Pilates movements into this class! (Check out Yogalates on Wednesdays at 6:30pm!)

They even have a class for new parents and their infants – how amazing is that?
How could you not love a service that caters to balancing your urban lifestyle? Their neighbourhood-specific approach to wellness is quite smart, and we love that they host city-centric events like Rooftop Yoga:
You can find testimonials like this one on their blog:
“I’ve always practiced yoga on and off over the years but I’ve never found a studio or an instructor I’ve wanted to commit to, until now. LLY is so great, it’s such a non-judgemental and open-hearted group of people both leading and taking the classes.”
Be sure to check out their Upcoming Events page for more details! Meet their team, peruse the schedule, and start booking classes online here! It’s just $15 for a single class, and there are plenty of pass options, like 5 classes for $70 or 10 classes for $130!
