I Tip My Hat To This Pretty Purple Little Italy Rowhouse

City Living, College Street / Little Italy

I smiled passing this row house in Toronto's Little Italy yesterday.

They're urbaneer buyers who took a risk and elevated this dwelling from conventional to visually arresting.

Seriously, had they not gone black and purple (“just the right shade… not too Barney”) this house would go unnoticed.

Now it's a head-turner – in the best of all ways – and it simply required being brave enough to use a splash of colour most people wouldn't choose.

Isn't it lovely? I tip my hat!
