That today is Halloween makes this post rather gruesome and haunting. After all, what’s more scary than the dark side of reality?

CBC Toronto recently compiled police data spanning the last seven years to create a comprehensive map of crime occurrences and drug charges in each of Toronto’s 140 neighbourhoods. Breaking it into eight categories – Assault, Sexual Assault, Break and Enter, Robbery, Drug Charges, Stolen Vehicles, Theft Over $5000 and Murder (yikes!) – citizens can now assess the underbelly of urban life according to location. So how does your neighbourhood rank?
