Toronto Film Festival Fever Is Here!

City Living

We love movies.

We love Toronto even more.

When these two loves intersect – once a year, in the form of the Toronto International Film Festival – we’re giddy with excitement!

Celebrating its 40th year, the festival is once again focusing an international spotlight directly on our beloved city. Celebs are already starting to filter in (anyone have eyes on Ryan Gosling yet?!) and rest assured the throngs of fans won’t be far behind. This year, the festival is screening one-hundred and twenty six short and feature films from 26 countries, a line-up as multicultural as Toronto.

What does TIFF mean for Toronto real estate? The festival is one of the many avenues Toronto uses to bolster its reputation and spread awareness about one of the most livable cities in the world. That translates into increased tourism and increased investment – in real estate! As Toronto’s popularity grows, creeping up on long-time international favorites like London or New York, we’ll continue to see an increased flow of migrants and investors. Plus, who’s to say Bryce Dallas Howard won’t buy up a luxe pied-de-terre while she’s here? This is Toronto, after all.

And it’s awesome.
