Today I wanted to share with you a few tips on how to create a great look for a reasonable cost. Just remember, when you’re trying to make a place look its best, attention is in the Details.
James had the old vintage radiators stripped and sealed to give a warm, glowing patina:
New beadboard painted cream with linen draperies from Restoration Hardware give a vintage feel throughout the suite:
New shaker doors give a nod to yesteryear:
Subway tiles with a classic black band complete the shower enclosure:
A shaker cabinet with half moon pull, butcher block counter, beadboard back splash and open shelving with hand-forged brackets keep our attic atelier firmly grounded in the past:
We LOVE referencing the past without getting bound by the conventions of historical accuracy… at least as it pertains to this once-forlorn shackarrific triplex. Now it feels like Home!
