A Walk on The Beach
July 19, 2011

Everyone needs a 'Time Out'.
For me, nothing beats finding solace at the place I enjoyed most as a child. Willows Beach in Oak Bay, Victoria, is one of a few locations in the world that feels like "Home" to me. It may not be bricks and mortar, but this sandy spot on the Pacific Ocean overlooking the Olympic Mountains recalibrates me every time I return.
Here's a past blog on My Childhood Playground.
Last year I was charmed by these 'beach shelters'. Click HERE to see that post.
This year, I'm getting a kick out of the graffiti on this massive washed up dock, and the insouciant charm of these bicycles.

Happy Summer!
