The Arthur On College Street

Have you visited Liz at The Arthur, located at 550 College Street just west of Bathurst near Kalendar Cafe and the Flight Centre?

Liz sells all sorts of adorable knick knacks and curiosities both vintage and new in her wee little shop. Every time I pop in I can pretty much exit with a darling gift for someone special in my life.

 

 

I've especially adored her collections of vintage silk scarves, but this time I picked up this etched mirrored vintage tray and a pair of organic scent-arrific California soaps as a 'thinking of you' gift.

Isn't this adorable? Great value at $50 including taxes.

In a world of big box stores filled with big box things, some times finding the special is as easy as relying on your neighbourhood shop. If you can support your local economy, then do it!
