Happy Mother’s Day

When I was a kid my Mom gave me the lattitude to be a silly inquisitive boy, while teaching me the essentials of good etiquette and all the social graces. She knew to step back at those moments I demanded independence, and yet she was always there for a cuddle and reassurance when the world wasn't going my way. She inspired me to be true to my self, to be the best I can be, and to know that one works to live, not lives to work. I'm one of the lucky ones, for without all the lessons by example or by teaching, I know I wouldn't be who I am without the Mom I have.

I love you Mom.
