Happy Father’s Day

I know I'm one of the lucky ones. I have a brilliant dad with a heart of gold who is always supportive of everything I do! When I was a child, my Dad told me to "Do what you love and the money will follow". Isn't that the best advice EVER!? Lucky Me!

Although my father lives in Victoria, today I honored him by going the Humber Nurseries with my friends Dan and Mark where we chose most of the new plantings for my Movie House Loft patio. My Dad has an amazing green thumb, so it was neat to know if he was in Toronto he would have joined in the fun.

Here are some of the plantings, including a breathtaking Japanese Maple. which will be delivered on Tuesday.

You do indeed have the best dad. His heart is truly gold, his humour sparkles like yours and his thumb is not only green, but also so very well measured, held up in front of a canvas, checking the space for one of his stellar works.
